New Television Series for Flying Squirrels Premieres

The Community Idea Stations has partnered with the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, for a new  television series, Flying Squirrels Insider. The thirty-minute, bi-weekly show premieres Tuesday, April 10 at 10 p.m. on WCVW PBS.

Flying Squirrels Insider is co-hosted by Flying Squirrels radio broadcasters Jon Laaser and Anthony Oppermann and covers storylines both on the field and off. The series premiere features a breakdown of the Flying Squirrels Opening Day roster, a miked-up look at Media Day and the team’s first workout with special correspondent Johnny Monell, and a conversation with Vice President & COO Todd “Parney” Parnell.

Flying Squirrels Insider airs on Tuesdays in April (April 10th and 24th) before shifting to Mondays in May. Additionally, the show will also air on Saturdays on WCVE PBS and WHTJ PBS beginning in May.
