Tribute to Page Wilson Held

Out O' the Blue Memorial Revue

Recently (Saturday, March 26th), friends and colleagues came to our WCVE Public Radio studios for a live broadcast of “Out O' the Blue Memorial Revue,” a tribute to Page Wilson. Performers included Janet Martin, Susan Greenbaum, Terry Garland and Reckless Abandon. They shared some stories and played some tunes – all as a celebration to Page’s life. We hope you were able to share this special evening of music and remembrance. To see a few photos from the performance, click on the “more photos” link under the image.

And as a reminder, the First Annual Page Wilson Memorial Concert event will take place on Sunday, May 8, 2:00-9:00 PM downstairs at the Canal Club in Richmond. Doors will open at 1:00 PM and there is a suggested donation of $15 to benefit Virginia Blue, Page's daughter, and her college fund and Positive Vibe Cafe.  Everyone is welcome.

I am so sad to hear that Page passed away. I worked with him over the last 10 years, sending him music to play on his show. I always enjoyed our conversations together. He will be missed.

How about a CD of the show, amd maybe some Page wilson highlights as a Thank you gift for a fund drive? Or just to sell for profit?

Great Show, Out o' the Blue will surely be missed.

I was so sorry to miss the Memorial Revue. I do hope you will rebroadcast this. If not, is there any way I could get a recording of this, for perhaps a donation to the Virginia Blue college fund?

Thank you for posting these photos.
