Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! LIVE Cinecast Event

Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!

Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! – Live is a national cinecast of the weekly radio show from NPR, featuring host Peter Sagal and official judge and scorekeeper Carl Kasell. For this big screen adaptation of the popular radio news quiz, Sagal and Kasell will quiz Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! panelists – the comedians, writers and style icons Paula Poundstone, Mo Rocca and Tom Bodett – special guests and listener contestants through a comic review of the week’s news.

Viewers can expect Kasell reading limericks, celebrity guests answering oddball questions, faces made for radio, and an unapologetic focus on heckling the headlines and fawning over the week’s infamous foibles as contestants vie for the most coveted prize in all of public radio: a custom-recorded greeting by Kasell for their voicemail.

About Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!
For a wacky and whip-smart approach to the week's news and newsmakers, listen no further than Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, the oddly informative news quiz from NPR. During each fast-paced, irreverent show, host Peter Sagal leads what might be characterized as the news Olympics. Callers, panelists, and guests compete by answering questions about the week’s events, identifying impersonations, filling in the blanks at lightning speed, sniffing out fake news items, and deciphering limericks. Listeners vie for a chance to win the most coveted prize in radio: having official judge and scorekeeper Carl Kasell record the outgoing message on their home answering machine. Listen on WCVE Public Radio Sundays at 3:00 p.m.

Will it be repeated before season 2 premiere and if so, when?

Hi Rick -

We will repeat all six regular episodes of Season 1 of Call the Midwife in a marathon session on Sunday, March 31 prior to the premiere of season two at 8 pm that evening.

However, the holiday special will not be part of that repeat schedule.
