Lightning Damage Affects WCVW PBS

Lightning damaged one of the two antennas at the top of our transmission tower back in early March. The damaged antenna is shared by 3 television stations, WCVW PBS, WRLH and WRIC. All three stations are currently using an auxiliary antenna so the main damaged one can be removed and sent back to the factory for repair. Due to the power limitations of the auxiliary antenna, all three stations are currently broadcasting at about 1/2 of normal power. Sadly, this affects our over-the-air viewers only.

The conference offered social media tools and strategic concepts to over 100 nonprofit professionals and volunteers.
