Joe Klein

Joe Klein is the author of the critically acclaimed novel Primary Colors, which was inspired by the 1992 presidential race. His book spent 25 weeks on the New York Times hardcover bestseller list–nine of them at number one–following its publication in 1996. His latest book is The Natural: The Misunderstood Presidency of Bill Clinton, also a New York Times bestseller.

Klein is a Washington correspondent for The New Yorker and previously served as a political reporter and columnist for Newsweek. He has written articles and book reviews for The New Republic, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Life, Rolling Stone and other publications.
