Alice
Rivlin is a professor at the New School University and a senior fellow
at the Brookings Institution where she is also the co-director of the
Greater Washington Research Program. Previously, she served as vice chair
of the Federal Reserve Board for three years, and director of the White
House Office of Management and Budget. She is the founding director of
the Congressional Budget Office. Rivlin is a frequent contributor to newspapers,
television and radio and has written numerous books, most recently Beyond
the Dot.coms (with Robert Litan, 2001). She is also co-editor of The
Economic Payoff from the Internet Revolution.
