WCVE Public Radio and Rockitz team to raise funds for disaster assiatance
Musical festival scheduled for November 8, 2008
HARVFEST ’08 is a musical event that blends an eclectic mix of music from folk, progressive rock to country, to help raise money for the United Way to fund disaster assistance. WCVE Public Radio has partnered with Rockitz to present HARVFEST ’08, which will be held November 8, 2008 in the studios of the Community Idea Stations.
The purchase price of $50 for a single ticket and $90 for a pair includes the night’s entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and two beverages. No one under 21 will be admitted. Because of the intimacy of the performance site, tickets are limited to no more than 250. The concert will be recorded and edited for a future broadcast on WCVE Public Radio’s “The Electric Croude.” All artists have generously donated their time for this event.

Net proceeds will go to United Way to fund disaster assistance. United Way provides essential information and resources for disaster assistance through funding relief organizations like the Red Cross as well as 2-1-1, United Way’s own information and referral.
