Two Brothers: One North, One South is David Jones' first novel. It chronicles the lives of two brothers who fought on opposite sides in the civil war Battle of Petersburg and died at the Battle of the Breakthrough.

Making History Live is the final program in the 2010-2011 Colonial Williamsburg Electronic Field Trip series, and will air Thursday, April 7, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on WCVE PBS.

“A Blessing to One Another: Pope John Paul II and the Jewish People” Exhibit

Rhona Arenstein and Rosann Bocciarelli are two friends who were the driving force to bring “A Blessing to One Another: Pope John Paul II and the Jewish People” to Richmond. The exhibit is on display at the Virginia Holocaust Museum and will be there until the end of May.

The exhibit draws its name from the Pope's 1993 appeal marking the 50th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising: “As Christians and Jews, following the example of the faith of Abraham, we are called to be a blessing to the world. This is the common task awaiting us. It is therefore necessary for us, Christians and Jews, to first be a blessing to one another.”
