As part of a review of states' compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, The U.S. Department of Education found that Virginia was not reviewing policies, procedures, and practices at school divisions reporting differences in disciplinary actions taken against disabled students and those who are not disabled.

A Richmond resident who illegally added on to her Northern Neck vacation home has violated a state law protecting the Chesapeake Bay. The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors has given her a choice -- tear down the addition or keep it and pay a $10,000 civil fine. WCVE Northern Neck correspondent Pamela D’Angelo reports.
