Directions to WHTJ PBS: The offices and studio of WHTJ PBS are located at 528 East Main Street on Charlottesville’s historic Downtown Mall. We are next to the Virginia Discovery Museum and across from the Free Speech Monument. WHTJ can validate your parking for two hours, so please bring along your parking stub to be stamped. From points south, west and east: I-64 to Exit 121, Route 20 north towards Charlottesville. Follow Route 20 for 1 mile. RIGHT at the light onto Avon Street/9th Street. Cross over the Belmont Bridge. You will see the Charlottesville Pavilion on your left. LEFT at the light onto Market Street. Go a couple of blocks, then turn LEFT into the Market Street Parking Garage. After parking, exit to Main Street (the Downtown Mall) and walk left towards the Pavilion. From points north: 29 South to the Route 250 Bypass heading east towards the Downtown Mall. RIGHT at the light onto McIntire Road towards the Downtown Mall. LEFT at the light onto Market Street. Go about five blocks, then turn RIGHT into the Market Street Parking Garage. After parking, exit to Main Street (the Downtown Mall) and walk left towards the Pavilion. |
