Florida Fugitive Arrested on I-95
A former teacher at a Catholic School in Coral Springs, Florida, is in the Pamunkey Regional Jail in Hanover.
Police in Broward County, Florida, alerted Virginia State Police that a teacher wanted in connection with a crime involving a student was on I-95 talking to their Detective Sylviane Wernath.
Molnar: Troopers were dispatched to the scene on southbound 95 around the 115 mile marker in Caroline County.

Molnar: Inside this vehicle was Miguel Cala, age 37, from Coral Springs, Florida. He was wanted in connection with two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation acts against a child under the age of 12.
The Broward detective had apparently convinced Cala to turn himself in. He gave a statement admitting involvement, and there may be additional charges pending against him. Cala was taken for a psychological and medical examination and then booked into the Pamunkey Regional Jail in Hanover.
