Eight Virginians Play Nationwide in Drum Corps

There are eight musicians from Virginia, four from the Richmond area, performing with The Cadets at the Drum Corps International World Championship in Indianapolis this weekend.
Today is the first day of the Drum Corps International Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. 41 corps are competing to be named world champions. Four young Richmond area musicians are in the thick of it.
My Godson is one of the Cadets from Richmond and I am just bursting with pride. He is an extraordinary musician, but an even more extraordinary young man He is a delight and I wish them all the best of luck as the team goes forward.
