Entomologist Dr. Art Evans and WCVE producer Steve Clark talk to Goochland High School teacher Bea Cantor about her new e-book, Calling Nature. Bea recalls some of her adventures in photographing insects and other small things with her iPhone and how she turned them into a wonderful, multi-media book.

Heard the NPR segment this morning. Not really into small bug photography but here is a good example of how a teacher can and does stimulate interest in a subject for which he or she has great passion. Reminds me of my high school teachers 50 years ago! Her father is rightly proud as I would be too.

I witnessed some of her effort to get really good picks. It takes time, patience and love for what she has being doing.. I am her father and am very proud of what she accomplished.

Hi Eduardo - thank-you for sharing the inside information about Bea's process and work! You should be proud.
