Dog Jog and 5K to Benefit Richmond SPCA

The Richmond SPCA will stage its 11th Annual Dog Jog and 5K Run on Saturday morning.

This is always a wonderful event and great fun for the whole family! Runners, joggers and walkers alike enjoy the flat 5K course. For the leisurely 1-mile Dog Jog, registration is per dog, and more than 600 dogs are expected along with their human guardians. Most importantly, this is the second-largest annual fundraiser to benefit orphaned pets and all the lifesaving programs and services offered by the Richmond SPCA.

Registration is open at www.richmondspca.org/race through Wednesday, March 13 at 5 p.m. and onsite registration will be available at the Robins Starr Humane Center, at 2519 Hermitage Road on Thursday and Friday as well as on the morning of the event. Details, including a full schedule of events are at www.richmondspca.org.
