The great Elvis Costello (one of my hero's) once sang that "radio is a sound salvation." Well on this week's World Music Show (5/25), the sounds you'll hear may not bring you salvation but they'll certainly be able to entertain you.

On one level, music is a simple thing, right? We know what we like and often times we may not even pay attention to what's being played. Many times music is even background noise, simply sounds to absorb throughout the day.

There are things we do for those we love, even though we may not want to. For me, it's taking a trip to a craft store with my wife. I'll go because I know she likes to go there. But if I can avoid it, I will. Then there are the things we do for those we love becuase we know that it'll bring them great joy. That's the premise for this week's World Music Show (5/11).

Listen. I've got to make this quick. You see, sometimes, there are so many things pulling at me, from all sorts of directions, that once in awhile, it's hard to find the time to share the beauty of sound that awaits you on Saturday night.
