America’s Anniversary Garden
Guest: Leanne DuBois–Extension Agent, James City County
www.ext.vt.edu/americasgarden

Virginia will mark the 400th anniversary of Jamestown during 2007.

Virginia Cooperative Extension has developed the America’s Anniversary Garden to help individuals, communities and groups mark America's 400th Anniversary with a signature garden.

Signature gardens will have red, white and blue color schemes.

Several publications are available through your local Extension Office which include suggested plants to give you the red, white and blue designs.

Publications also include suggested designs of annual or perennial beds ranging from a 30 inch wide container garden to an 8 ft. X 10 ft. landscape area which includes a small tree, shrubs, perennials, and annuals.
