Daylilies are the ultimate in low maintenance perennials.
While each bloom last only a day, it’s not unusual for healthy daylilies to produce 20 to 30 blooms per plant.
Many gardeners interplant daylilies with daffodils for two season color and to help camouflage the wilting daffodil foliage in late spring.
Daylilies are available from early to late blooming varieties and in various heights to complement other plants.

Maud’s garden is open for visitors. Kindly call ahead to arrange a visit.
Conifers are plants that produce cones and have needle shaped or scale-like leaves.
Gardeners often incorporate conifers into their landscapes to provide four seasons of interest.
Conifers range in size, form, color and texture, making them great additions to almost any landscape setting.
There are conifers appropriate for either sun or shade settings, but variegated varieties will show their best color in full sun.
For more information on conifers contact the American Conifer Society at www.conifersociety.org
