Serviceberry, Amelanchier arborea
This small tree is deciduous and grows to a mature height of 15-25 feet tall. It can be grown as a single or multi-stemmed specimen. It flowers in early spring with drooping clusters of white blooms. It has a beautiful red fall color, and small red fruits that ripen in June. The bark is ornamental with its striation. Use this small tree to add four seasons of interest to any landscape.
