Japanese
Gardens consist of three primary elements: water, plant material and hardscape.
Water features
need not be large and may even be implied, as with dry stream beds.
An Azumaya
is a rustic building that serves as a resting place where one can enjoy
the garden.
Plant pallets
in Japanese Gardens are chose as much for their texture as their color.
Variations of the color green are hi-lighted. Flowers are of much less
importance than in european gardens.
