If you’ve made the decision to irrigate, an inground irrigation system can save time, energy and money.
A properly designed system will illiminate dry spots and maximize the efficiency of the water used.
Proper zones and sprinkler heads will insure the right distribution of water for turf as well as landscape beds.
A wireless water sensor will shut the system down during rain events preventing excess water usage.
Some localities offer companion water meters which can save on the cost of the water being used for irrigation.
Automated systems can also be run manually. This provides the homeowner the flexibility of not watering unless the conditions require it.

Malaysian freshwater shrimp are grown and harvested in one growing season.
Lagoon type ponds are best as the water quality of these can be more easily controlled.
A lagoon pond is one which is not fed by a stream, spring or watershed run-off, rather it is filled from a source pond and topped off as necessary.
Freshwater shrimp are harvested in one day, in the fall, when the pond is drained.
Shrimp can be sold on-farm, as they are harvested, thereby eliminating the need for storage facilities or middle-men. |
