This is a great video.

Being one of Ruth Lewis Smith's daughters, I can confirm that my mother "walks the walk" of Country Cooking - she raises poultry, has fruit trees, and maintains a garden every year. Much of her food goes from garden-to-table, like most of her (late) siblings.

Aunt Edna's "Taste of Country Cooking" is my favorite of her cookbooks, mostly because the narrative that accompanies the recipes reads like an interesting history, and it is also a trip down memory lane, from the short time I lived in Unionville, which is definitely in Orange County.

Thank you for producing it, and for making it available on the Web.
