Wow! I'm the little girl with the violin in the pictures used on the clip about Mary Jane Batty. As a bit of catch-up, I spent 30 years in Marketing and Public Relations and am now changing careers with a double-major in Education from Glenville State College in Glenville, WV with an emphasis on Elementary Education and English Education. I still play the violin at every opportunity - in a variety of styles: jazz, folk, bluegrass, country and of course, classical - and on the same violin shown in the photos! It's been one fantastic ride - and I owe it all to music and to music teachers like Mrs. Batty! Barbara Blankenship
